Team Defence Vanguard (TD-V)

The TD-V is a board of new professionals from across the MOD and industry committed to changing the status quo for defence, receiving its direction from the TD-Info Strategy Board and reporting through this group to the Defence Suppliers Forum.

The TD-V has three guiding principles:

• Diversity of thought gives better solutions
• Broader engagement gives better coherence
• Better understanding of innovation means quicker adoption

The TD-V has several key strategic themes:

• Skills, Retention and Diversity – to improve the skill base accessible to defence
• Sustainability and Net Zero – to reduce the impact Defence makes on the planet
• Ethics of AI – to ensure future technologies are cognisant of broader societal attitudes
• Mobile Applications for Defence – to ensure defence has the best tools for the job
• Cyber Defence in the Supply Chain – to secure the entire support network
